ABOUT JOEFFREY
  • Early Life and Education
    I was born and raised in Mzimba, Malawi, where I grew up facing numerous challenges. Despite the limited resources available to me, I was determined to pursue my education. I attended Kamilaza Secondary School, where I successfully completed my high school studies.
  • Self-Reliance and Perseverance
    What's remarkable about my educational journey is that I had to rely on myself to pay my school fees. I took up gardening to earn the necessary funds, demonstrating my resilience and determination to succeed. This experience not only helped me develop a strong work ethic but also instilled in me the importance of self-reliance.
  • Leadership and Public Service
    As I grew older, my passion for leadership and public service only deepened. I became involved in various community initiatives, driven by my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me. My experiences have prepared me to take on greater challenges and to advocate for the needs of my community.
  • Vision for the Future
    Today, I am committed to using my skills and experience to drive positive change in Mzimba and beyond. I envision a future where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. I am dedicated to working tirelessly to make this vision a reality and to inspiring others to join me in this effort.

Campaign Updates
We work hard every day to make the lives of our people better and happier
  • *Empowering Girls' Education: April 12, 2025*
    Addressing the girls at Kamilaza Community Day Secondary School, cheering them on, and making a commitment to support them. Currently, the girls' hostel lacks a fence, and the borehole supplying water is in disrepair, forcing them to walk 2 km to fetch water daily. I am seeking donations to:
    • Build a fence for the girls' hostel
    • Repair the borehole to provide clean water
  • *Infrastructure Development: April 17, 2025*
    Inspecting a bridge in Mhalaunda, which becomes impassable during the rainy season, causing children to miss school. This highlights the need for improved infrastructure in our community.
  • *Nomination and Fee Submission: April 20, 2025*
    I will be submitting my nomination papers and paying the required fee of K2.5 million (Malawian).
  • *Supporting Healthcare Professionals: April 25, 2025*
    A speech at our district hospital, encouraging doctors and nurses to uphold their profession. I will also be seeking donations to renovate the dilapidated maternity wards.
  • *Campaigning and Voting*
    From July onwards, I will be campaigning actively, engaging with the community, and listening to their concerns. The voting date is set for September 16, 2025. I look forward to your support and participation in shaping the future of our community!
